I am widowed, I am feeling lonely and I would welcome the opportunity to chat with a lady. I hate having to talk about myself, it seems immodest, but it is a requirement
I am tall, slim, young at heart, masculine, clean shaven, well spoken, of smart appearance, intelligent, educated and funny with a wry sense of humour (e.g. like Spike Milligan). I am an engineer and spent most of my working life as a professional in the IT business. I enjoy theatre, TV, cinema, musicals, opera and ballet, and mixing socially.
I have three grown up children who are very important to me. I enjoy taking part in community life and lively conversation, gardening, and leading an active life. I retired long ago and am financially comfortable. I find myself alone after a long marriage and would like to meet a lady of similar social position to myself, who is feminine, loving and intelligent, and whose values and interests match or complement mine.
