Now fully retired after more than a decade as a self-employed, part-time business consultant and full-time single father. A full-on Europhile I am looking into my Italian ancestry in order to regain a EU passport.
I am highly intelligent, kind, honest, caring, happy, polite, with a dry sense of humour, but prone to see the silliness in life around me. I like to see the best in everything and everybody.
I like reading, writing, dining out, entertaining, quiet nights in the pub with a mate, traveling (3 times round the world so far), cinema, concerts (classical or rock), Italy and all things Italian, France (except Parisians), pottering (I could potter for England), reading the paper in a café, poring over maps,Only Connect, proper food (I can cook), red wine, Champagne, raspberries, quizzes, puzzles, and hugs.
