About him
I would like to think I am a reasonably nice guy who unfortunately finds himself without a partner. I enjoy the outdoors, walking etc but not fanatical about it (not 10 miles before breakfast). In the summer I am always outside in the garden, BBQ's etc.
I have started playing some golf which I am enjoying and also do some local volunteering.
I would like to do some more travelling- I often read the travel reports in newspapers and think "I would really like to do that" but it's not the same alone. I enjoy short breaks away , maybe a couple of nights, either in UK or abroad. Things like that are so much better when shared.
I do like the water and enjoy being near it or on it- be it lake, river or sea.
I can cook reasonably well, the simple stuff and do a good breakfast!
About his ideal match
I guess I would like to meet somebody who is fairly relaxed about life and would enjoy getting out there and enjoying themselves. It doesn't have to be flashy or expensive- most of the enjoyment is in the company. If you can get away on a whim for a couple of nights, fantastic.
I guess it's all the cliched things- walks, the odd film and theatre, the occasional meal out or drink in the local. Usually it's going to be just watching TV together ( lets get real!).
