About him
Having been brought up to be modest about ones achievements and that no one likes a show off, trying to stand out from the crowd on a dating website feels alien. Anyway, this must be the easy way out because, friends say I scrub up reasonably well and that I don't look my age. However, I do welcome their comments of being genuine, thoughtful, reliable and honest.
I'm adventurous by nature but can be prone to shyness when around someone I especially like. I enjoy the outdoors and like to get out as much as possible and I have a great circle of friends from rugby playing days to rowing and yoga. I used to horse ride regularly but not these days' and I do miss it. I have a passion for aerobatics. I also discovered salsa dancing a few years ago and enjoy it enormously but Covid dealt that a heavy blow.
There are no hidden agendas here and I would like to meet someone where communication between us is open, honest and trusting and without fear or anxiety. Where a tender embrace is freely given, never wished for and always welcome.
Finally, I always wanted a family, and a long-term relationship at about the right time for that did not resulted in marriage or children. I've been told that lots of older men are not that interested in women who have dependent children but it is of no concern to me if you do. I have history, how can one not at 64, but fortunately, not baggage.

My ideal match, mmmmm... Her own mind, happy, optimistic, spiritual, creative, compassionate, sincere, playful, tactile, adventurous, not overly materialistic, dark hair, slim/athletic, preferably not adverse to flying or motorbikes (although there is no requirement to participate in either of these activities), likes dogs, especially JRT's and horses. I do like a woman who is comfortable and confident with the natural look, false anything I don't find especially appealing.
However, I'm by no means perfect so how could I possibly expect anyone else to be!
