Average, ordinary , ~ 9/10 retired lecturer , did a diploma in glass and ceramic materials a very long time ago, worked in ceramics , still enjoy going through art glass galleries and ceramics exhibitions. low maintenance , not a fashion follower

i can cook , i have a good sense of humour and a pragmatic approach to life ; my main hobbies; photography , hiking , pre-covid traveling mainly in Europe to mangle their languages,post covid ?? , trawling thru car-boot sales , collecting glass and junk , and almost fixing old clocks. Moving around in life’s swirls and eddies, I ended up teaching production engineering , O.R and management methods, I still do a very little part time lecturing on engineering project organisation, financial planning and methods, and helping students to get into their first jobs. I also do some occasional basic helping for the older non-digital generation to get them into computers.and some local U3A activities

i would like to meet a warm hearted patient lady not pretentious ,with a practical approach to life, interested in most things , who enjoys some traveling.
A key factor in developing any relationship is proximity, and while there are many wonderful ladies listed here, distributed over the UK, i will have to disappoint them, at least until after i have exhausted all the listed ladies in London. ( i mean , exhausted the supply , but the process is tiring )
deal breakers : usually arise from meeting and the interaction , however having jinked thru the site and met several ladies, i can add from personal experience the following absolutely unacceptable factors ;
beards, multiple piercings and lots of metal inserts, ( i am conflicted on this , as its so good for mobile phone reception, and they do point north ) ; prominent facial / body tattoos ; an irrational fear of surds; excessive use of the words " I must" ;
ladies who have anthropomorphised their pet cat/ dog / etc to the state of infant / teenage / child substitute;
size ; i am a happy 5 ft 7 inch,keel to main-mast; i wont grow any more, i am happy with un-sized , non-porous ladies...........and unless you really are a vampire, no photo = no action,
