I have a lot of varied interests including keep fit, swimming, gardening, crosswords, reading,jazz, theatre,
voluntary work and meeting people. I think a good sense of humour is one of the most important characteristics and attribute lots of laughs to keeping young in mind and heart. I now feel able to move on and would love a second chance to recreate the happiness that I was lucky enough to experience in my marriage. Although I have a wide circle of friends who kindly include me in their social activities, it would be nice to meet someone special to share experiences with or just sit in contented silence with. My friends tell me I am easy going and not at all demanding and I would like to meet someone with similar traits who also likes their own space now and again.I am a member of U3A and enjoy several group activities and outings to places of interest and also like to travel. As one of my daughters lives in California I am lucky to have been able to see most of that State on my frequent visits. I have three more daughters, all married and living fairly near me,and I enjoy spending time with them and their families as often as time allows.Im equally happy having a nice meal in or out as long as it is accompanied by a nice glass of wine! Enjoy holidays at home and abroad and have ticked off most of the countries on my bucket list, but hopefully not finished travelling yet.
