I love my life but want that someone special to share the days paddle boarding, rugby days, the time spent sitting around the table with friends.
I work hard (self employed) and thrive on the challenges it brings. My work is important but I am perhaps better now at finding a balance between work and other things in life.
Fatherhood came later for me. It is a both a challenge and the best thing in my life. Keeping up with a nine year old has made me re-evaluate many things that I had believed were axiomatic.
Life should never be mediocre. Accepting mediocrity is looking at life’s wonderful menu and opting for the bland.
If that sounds too earnest or pretentious it is definitely not supposed to be. Inside is the child that just grew up.
