Wide interests, Offshore sailing, Skiing, Archery, Golf, Cars and Motorbikes, Canals, Ice skating..... keen to share and add to the list, currently into Ukulele and Watercolours.
Happiest helping others, not good at pleasing myself; pretty fit - use it or lose it ! not the tidiest person but with aspiration to improve this, slightly OCD if that is not a contradiction.
Into rugby, not too keen on soccer, F1 is great, but my interest is in all motorsport. An engineer in its wider sense, creating and fixing mechanical, electrical, construction, all systems and processes, any DIY jobs... Volunteer winter maintenance team for Canal boats for the disabled.
Off-shore sailor, Atlantic crossing, couple of Fastnet races, many races Cross-channel, Channel islands, Irish sea...., not so much now, I leave all that heavy weather to others. It is no longer a challenge having the sea crash over your head while changing a headsail at 2am.
Not good at golf (more practice needed ?), used to like badmington and squash, not played tennis for many years. Really love skiing, if only for an excuse to be at the top of a mountain in the snow; it has got a lot easier now with the new knees.
