About her
I have a positive get up and go nature , a result of my innate curiosity in just about everything. ! My special interests are painting and walking in countryside and along coasts, with the added pleasure of lunch with friends. Personal space is very important to me and appreciated in others, but most important is the care and non combative consideration of others needs, discussion before decision, life is for living but not alone ! I am quite widely travelled and have spent most of my adult life overseas in South Africa, Portugal, Gozo, Bahamas and New York, and love visiting Italy and France, only now am I appreciating the hidden gems of the UK and British Isles. Musically I try not to miss good opportunities wherever I am, classical concerts, opera and I have a soft spot for ABBA ! A fairly recent arrival on my bucket list is in all modesty, the need to write a book on an important social issue, and being new territory for me, is a determined struggle.
