Personable (I like to think) man galloping through his sixties. Tempus Fugit. Retired by COVID but happy to have plenty of time to pursue other things. Want a website? Would like to engage with complementary character of good humour - reader, creative, solvent, ambitious for a good time - any combination of those things. No Tories or little Englanders thanks. Life's too short to be mean spirited. I cook, eat, keep the house clean. Tick to all those. Dog lover (sadly my big Bear died last year), like walking and still drive a lot (to see my grown-up kids) and in a fit of typical life crisis behaviour bought a big motorcycle too. What a trope. Not sure how long I'll keep it though. Driving in a car is a lot more comfortable than riding a bike. Don't worry, no pillion passengers accepted.

I think you know when you meet. No pre-conceptions but I don't think I match a glamorous lifestyle. Someone serious but with a sense of humour. Someone with some passion for life and adventure. Someone kind. Not interested in keeping up with the Joneses but sensible to the need to afford a good life for oneself. Like to travel, speak in foreign tongues, keep up with the news and the world around us. Be a good neighbour. I don't know. Life can be a bit of a lottery can't it?
