The last time I went on a site I had a couple of disastrous dates with men who turned out to be quite unkind!
I am an optimist and feel most people are good at heart, so these experiences, although unpleasant, haven't changed my world view, just made me jaded with regard to the online world.

I think that its kind of impossible to say what an ideal match would be, that's the beauty of attraction. There is an all purpose Chaucer quote, which actually makes no sense but says everything, "who knows why the fish swims to the weir?" You just don't know what combination of characteristics and appearance is going to light your fire.
I might have met Mick Jagger in his prime and thought, nah, looks like Nureyev, but not really for me...who knows...seems unlikely but...
If I was to try to begin to answer this, someone with the sense of humour of a Bob Mortimer, quirky, left field, warm, obscure. Someone who is creative by nature. I paint and am interested in contemporary art.
