I am considered friendly, kind, laid back, left-field, whimsical, eclectic.
I enjoy exploring places, things, people, ideas; a daydreamer with (a young) attitude. I am healthy, quite fit and domestically self-sufficient.
I love food, music, reading avidly, mindful walks, countryside/ beaches/cities/hills and small mountains, quality company and two-way conversation.
I'm fascinated by yarn and textiles - creating, handling, wearing, looking at, talking about. I have acquired a range of skills involved in textile crafts over the last 20 years - very therapeutic.
I am happiest on a steep learning curve and like a challenge - sometimes. I'm interested in art of all kinds; like to experience it with a like-minded person, especially one more knowledgeable than me ( not difficult). I find history, psychology, science, archaeology and language inspiring. Rock, EDM, folk,etc. gigs, live theatre, ballet, some classical/opera and early music recitals, galleries, are other things I take delight in, preferably with a soulmate.
I am acutely aware of my senses and my outlook on life is formed by them. For me Life is whatever your genes and environment allow you to make it, tempered by an existential awe of nature's complexity, beauty and wonder.
Outdoor activities have mainly been on hold for a few years (sadly), but I would love to start re-engaging with them.
