If you like enthusiastic, kind, creative creatures who like the odd and unusual - that's me. Should embrace the fact that I have purple hair and avoid the nondescript. I have a dry sense of humour, but also like slapstick ala Rik Mayall. Something a bit clever or wildly bonkers. I love live music gigs; heavy rock is probably my favourite, but I love just about anything except country. I do not act or look 'my age' and would like similar. I am a freelance editor and create pottery candelabra for fun. I have spent more than half of my life in Cape Town, so the sea and long beaches are also important to me. If you like to barbecue, even better. (I do not like to cook.) I adore dogs and cats (have neither right now), and am far too empathetic for my own good. I have not yet decided where I will settle in the UK - hopefully somewhere near water!

I would like to meet someone kind and creative, who is amusing and likes music. If you have a great sense of humour and obvious intellect, you are exhibiting characteristics that I am very fond of. Being nature loving and perhaps active in nature would be great. So would an affinity for the arts and enjoyment of live music, theatre and exhibitions.
