About her
I am living in a relatively new location ( five years) and have now arrived at a good place, mostly retired, and enjoying time for the things I enjoy. But would like to think there could be someone to share some great times with, as a companion and friend and hopeful it could be more. I had a long career in the music business, and now do a bit of piano teaching a few days a week. I have many interests, including music and art, design, architecture, cinema, politics, literature. I enjoy being outdoors - walking, gardening, playing tennis. Sitting in the garden reading. Keeping fit and eating well is a constant - I am interested in food of all different cultures and enjoy cooking and trying out new things. Travel is important for me - I spent many years building a house in the eastern mediterranean, and loved the dual life. Now I’m happy to try out new places in Europe whenever possible. Longer trips also but would be better with a companion! I’m quite sociable, and particularly enjoy being with small groups of good friends, but am also very happy with time alone. I enjoy discussing and chewing the fat, and always happy to learn new things from a conversation. Always curious, and aim to be open minded. It takes all sorts (although not the far right sort in any shape or form please).

I’m hoping to find someone relatively local, with a shared outlook on life, a kind nature and a conscience. Hopefully a proper grown up, if you know what I mean. A shared sense of humour and interests helps. Kindness, honesty and integrity are pretty much essential.
