About her
My friends would hopefully say that I am thoughtful, kind and always willing to help out; also fun and quite amusing. Someone recently described me as a sweetheart but not sure I would go that far. :)
Things I like to do include meeting friends, walking, Parkrun, watching sport, eating good food and drinking wine (but also partial to a beer or a gin), travel which might include visits to museums, galleries, churches, hiking and possibly a spot of birdwatching. My family are important to me; I have two children and two cocker spaniel grand daughters.
To relax I enjoy reading (crime and fantasy fiction are current favourites), a spot of knitting and binge watching tv shows that I have missed. I also have to confess that I like quizzes. Current hobbies in addition to Parkrun include Pilates and an outdoor exercise class. I am open to new things and have recently tried paddle boarding.
I dislike avocados and eating sea creatures (except fish) and dishonesty (life is too short for that crap).
Owing to recent events in my life my outlook is to do things while you can, don’t put them off. This profile does make me sound a little boring but I promise you I’m not - why not find out?
Almost forgot - I love Star Wars.
