Why should people get to know me . . . ?
Well I'm not sure how to answer this - though to be honest I'm a bit stuck as I'm sure most people are when faced with this question, but I'll keep chipping away in case I can find some reason why they should.
To begin with, I don't fit neatly into those typical male archetypes; I don't crave 'belonging' to a group or adhering to some pattern cast by others who think all aspects of the world should be scientifically categorised and logged. I don't follow and I don't lead, I'm just me and that's that!
That might sound a bit bolshy but it isn't intended. In fact I'm very easy going and can show remarkable levels of tolerance when needed.
I tend to avoid crowds and would sooner occupy the periphery of any group gathering. Occupying the centre of things doesn't interest me and never has, I like spending time on my own and I'm very happy in my own company. It is very grounding for me!
But I'm not entirely anti-social and can thrive in the right company where the conversation is stimulating and vibrations align. I also have a good sense of humour which is never very far away. I call upon it regularly, it is often spontaneous!
Being a traditional man I believe in good conduct, manners and politeness, and I'm always looking to improve those areas wherever I can. I am also sensible of the personal space of others - there is always a threshold between people that must be observed and respected. To cross that line is an invasion of another's personal space and can badly drain their energy while feeding the invader.
