About her
It's never easy describing yourself, even face to face is hard enough, but here goes. I’m friendly, outgoing and looking forward to the next stage in my life. I’m divorced and independent but would very much like to meet someone to share new experiences with.
I enjoy socialising with friends, the theatre, cinema, country strolls and travelling in general. I backpacked around the world in my 20s but there are still so many places I want to visit - just not with a rucksack these days!
I also love going out for meals and like most types of food. Italian is a favourite as well as Middle Eastern and most Asian cuisine. I would enjoy dinner at The Ivy as much as fresh food from a street vendor.
Being able to relax, cuddle up and watch a good film together is as enjoyable to me as visiting a gallery with a lovely dinner afterwards. It's all about who I'm doing it with!
I’m not sporty (it’s just not in my genes!) but I do try to keep active. Walking, Pilates and a bit of strength training are my healthy things at the moment.
I'm still working a couple of days a week as I enjoy the stimulation and challenge, and the interaction with my colleagues.
My lovely son is in his final year at uni and is carving out a life of his own, as he should, and now I need to do the same.
I believe that life is for living and I'm very much looking forward to my next chapter!
