About me
I used to work freelance in Film/TV production making programmes for Channel 4 and I now work intermittently in University Admin. My main passion is getting out and about with my camera -photography is my big love. I am just about to go on a photo trip to The Canaries which is very exciting.
Friends and family are, of course, very important and I have a circle of (to me!) unique friends dating back to University days who I cherish. I am close to my extended family and my 26 year old daughter keeps my feet firmly on the ground. I'm told I'm gregarious and fun although I'm happier with a few special people than a big crowd. Most of the time, I dress casually but I do have a ball gown, somewhere.
I love going for walks in the country, supper parties with friends, wild swimming in summer, playing lots of tennis, picnics and pubs with roaring fires. I like exploring foreign cities on buses and on foot, and I adore Greece, snorkelling off rocks and long taverna lunches. When I’m in London, I love cinema, art galleries, street markets and mooching around car boot sales, oh and theatre, of course. I enjoy reading - mainly fiction and I listen avidly to Radio 3 and Radio 4.

Why should people get to know Diana?
Because she's funny, unusual, pretty - lovely curly hair and beautiful eyes.
What makes her so special?
She grew up in a castle in Scotland - very romantic - with horses and a wonderfully eccentric father. She's lived in London all her working life but she's a Scottish country lass at heart.
What makes her tick?
She's a very loyal friend and has many of them - many of whom she's known all her life. So friends are very important to her, as is going out. She plays tennis excellently and belongs to a tennis club, which is a key part of her social life. She loves the theatre and is knowledgeable about it, and goes to the cinema a lot (she worked for years as a production assistant in film and TV). She's also partial to BBC dramas such as Poldark. And of course her beautiful daughter, now at university, is the most important thing.
Any funny moments to share?
Diana has a great sense of humour. We often make each other laugh by quoting from the Peter Sellers film The Party (especially the Birdie Num Num scene). Diana has often looked after my dog while I'm away and she took him for a swim in the sea - something he'd never liked before. She has a great knack with dogs, as her parents had several when she was growing up in Scotland.
Diana is lots of fun and I've known her for about 25 years.
