This feels like a confessional in non- dimensional space. A spiritual self- inquisition. A kind of personal poetry. Am impulsive, insouciant, gentle and very disorganised. Recognise there is no libretto in history.Adore freedom, exuberant self- expression,beaux esprits, individuality,an impulsive heart,emotional texture, orchestral colours and independence .Appreciate those who blithely cut through Gordian knots. Dislike all that constricts the forces of human vitality-- physical, intellectual, moral, political.
My humour is Peter Cook-like. Love wit that is verbal and cumulative; precisely concentrated fire, as image, pun, metaphor rising to marvellously dazzling patterns. Intoxicating.
Adore an eclectic cultural mix; cinema, art, most music, sculpture etc and also play tennis and cycle.
Have visited circa 60 countries. Love Russia. Mugged in Prague and Bucharest, arrested ( by mistake ) in Moscow and Jerusalem and fell out of a window and into a beautiful fountain in Helsinki.
Educated at the LSE and Oxford and studied and taught at Cambridge. I have 2 French children ( in their twenties ) who live in Paris.
