I retired last year from a professional job in a large acute hospital. I now work part-time on various projects which allows me a good work/life balance.
I have a grown up son and daughter who live away from home. My son married last year and now has a delightful baby girl. My family is very important to me.
I relax with good food and fine wine. I try to exercise regularly to keep fit and to try to keep all that 'good food and fine wine at bay'! I golf very occasionally, not in the rain and not well but slowly improving!
My great pastime is reading. I love to travel and would enjoy a companion to join me. I also enjoy the cinema and theatre.
I am of average build and take pride in my appearance. My friends and teenage daughter tell me I am attractive!
I am a caring genuine person with a good sense of humour. Humour has helped me through some bad times and would be an essential characteristic in a future relationship.
