About her
I am well read, well travelled and pretty independent. I'm passionate when my interest is engaged but also like periods of calm. I grew up on a farm then lived in the city and like aspects of both city and country life. I've lived in a number of other countries and like being exposed to different cultures and ideas. I am equally happy checking out new restaurants as cooking for friends, or curled up with a good book, glass of wine and music. I like country walking but otherwise am not v. athletic. I love travel, (have been twice round the world on my own) but not of the package variety. I loathe game shows, most reality TV, "celebs", and those who are obsessed with the inessentials - and what other people think about them.

I'd like to meet someone who is comfortable with themselves and emotionally mature who is open to forming new friendships, happy to try things outside their comfort zone, preferably well travelled, reasonably well read who is rational, reliable but capable of showing their feelings. An interest in travel, cooking, music, wine and the outdoors would be an added bonus as would someone who is a dog lover.
