Youthful in looks and spirit (photos from last November), sociable and easy to talk to, I smile and laugh easily. With an active mind and diverse interests I am always open to new ideas and experiences. I believe that life is about seeking beyond our own perspective, and enjoying it to the full.
I love travelling - roaming around new places and experiencing local culture and cuisine, not just the famous sights. I have a few long haul exciting destinations to visit on my list, but France remains my favourite.
Music is very important to me, from emotive classical pieces and opera to the variety of jazz and the strong beat of salsa. I enjoy dancing.
I greatly appreciate all aspects of London where I have lived most of my adult life - urban chic, dining out, galleries, theatre, opera, concerts, street performers....However I also like escaping the buzz into the serenity and beauty of the countryside and rural retreats, whether for a long walk, a bike ride, or a spontaneous weekend getaway.
And when at home it is just fun simply to throw together a succulent meal and to enjoy it with a glass of silky wine. Would you like to join me?
Semi-retired, I feel independent, content, and very lucky to have a circle of great lifetime friends and a close relationship with my now grown-up and self-reliant daughter. Life is pretty good. Having a partner to enjoy it with would be even better.
