About her
I am an attractive divorced woman, with no children, but a loving and loyal family. I run my own business in the media, after years working in book publishing.
I am essentially a creative person with a love of the arts, theatre, cinema, music, (rock not opera) I still think Clapton is the greatest, but listen to everyone from Santana to Paulo Nutini.
I enjoy live music and still go to the odd concert.
I love the Tate Modern, and wandering round art galleries in various cities from New York to Florence.
I also love the country side, coastal marshes and bird watching, walking and cycling. I do have masses of interests.
I have spent a lot of time in SW France, which I love and now miss not having the same reason to go there. I love the food and the country side but not during in the hunting season.
At home near Colchester, I have an allotment and I do a lot of gardening. Some garden design work too.
I try and grow a proportion of my own food. Unfortunately not enough grapes for wine though. But plenty of fruit for summer puddings.
The other love of my life is sailing, I have sailed all my life on a variety of boats, my ex and I owned a yacht in France , now I sail and crew with friends, the longest trip recently was from Falmouth to North West Spain. I love sailing in the Med, France, Majorca, Elba and Corsica in the summer. Antigua and other islands for a taste of heaven in the winter,but sadly not for the last couple of years.
But hey the Backwater estuary is pretty nice.
But there is something missing in my life and that is the right man to go to the movies with, out walking by the sea or just staying in and discussing life the universe and everything. Someone to make me laugh and find joy in the world.
