About him
A warm and friendly guy seeking a special partner to share his life and adventures. I have travelled widely in my life, in Australia visiting cousins, scuba diving in the Pacific, sailing in the Med and on a walking safari in South Africa and enjoyed it all enormously.
I am now much less active in chasing my tail around the globe. I prefer to focus on interesting areas, often through a historical lens and hopefully with a partner with whom to enjoy the cultural delights on offer.
I am an emotionally intelligent guy with a good sense of humour who is several years out of marriage. I now hope for a new relationship based on caring and sharing.
I enjoy most types of music, cinema, theatre, a walk in the park or a picnic in the countryside. My holidays tend to be relaxing but interesting. I am not a sunbed type but prefer to be exploring the ruins or searching for wildlife. This does not mean that I cannot be content with curling up with a special partner beside a log fire enjoying a glass of good wine.
Politically middle of the road, I was a remainer and was sad to lose the easy access to Europe. I spend time volunteering in the National Archives and for a local food bank.
