About him
Well...I've been described as a man of polarities (which is not bi polar), paradoxical, remarkably stupid sometimes for someone so intelligent and good looking (but the last one was my mother). I really try to enjoy everything I do, and that goes from work to the weekend. If we can't enjoy it, why bother doing it? I enjoy my pubs and restaurants but I also enjoy a quiet book at home sometimes; I know the worst jokes on the planet but my Christian faith is very important to me; I vote Conservative because I'm a socialist; I wear jeans and rugby shirts but I've probably got more smart clothes than you! Told you I was Mr. Paradox!
About his ideal match
Well, you've hopefully realised I can laugh at myself! And that's very important in my match; someone who doesn't take herself seriously 24/7 - although there are times when we need to. I've found that the fatal errors in recent relationships have included a lack of fun, a lack of faith, and not being local - my accent defies my long North Eastern roots. So I'd like to find a lady who can match those 'requirements' (God that sounds pompous). I believe a couple should support each other, and sometimes I might want to lean on you, but I want you to feel comfortable leaning on me - my mental shoulders are quite broad! My mix of friends is quite eclectic in terms of age, sex and 'status' and I want somebody who can cope with all that. Oh, and I love anything furry - you won't get me on a horse but I will play with them at ground level. But cats, dogs, rodents - all fine! I hope you can cope with that too!
