About him
Not a great fan of saying all about me, as I think it’s better to get know someone over time, in person, however, we need to start somewhere, so here we go. Outgoing and adventurous, but down to earth with some saying there is a shy and quiet side occasionally. I do have a young daughter who is my world and love and cherish my time with her. I also have a fox red lab who firmly believes she owns the house.
Love the outdoors and am happiest in the countryside or by the coast, certainly not one to be found sat in front of the TV at the weekend. Being a Cancerian, the sea has an alluring appeal and love anything to do with being on, in or by the sea. I surf and recently got into paddle surfing and ocean paddle racing. Have done a lot of sailing (sailed the Atlantic a few times) and when the opportunity arises I like to get out on my bike or my friends’ horse. I do enjoy being fit and healthy and exercise most days, including my extraordinary attempts at yoga, private viewing only.
Enjoy the social scene and a good party, or night out on town. Like to get together with friends and family for drinks/meal quite often. Big fan of live music, happy watching a local band in a pub, to the stadium/festival groups, but really like the summer open air concerts, with a picnic, couple bottles of wine, an ideal summers evening. Whilst enjoying that, if I have the choice I like to be with my partner and sharing the time and experiences with them. So, a relaxing night in is always welcomed, cooking/listening to music or sitting back with a good film and bottle of wine.. of course, these are all better with some excellent company; more about that later.
Overall, happy for a mix of keeping things simple, but enjoying the occasional sophisticated bash, so your find I am equally happy in a shirt and jeans for a casual night out to donning a top hat and tails for the royal enclosure...a man for all seasons I guess.
Ps. The beard is removable, it suits for the time being but is not a permanent feature.. 😉

The lady in question needs to be someone who is passionate about life and likes to live it to full when the opportunity arises, and who enjoys the outdoors, sports, and a good challenge, someone who enjoys the arts and a sophisticated night out. The kind of person who can hold a decent conversation and has her own beliefs and interests and be comfortable in sharing those. Someone whom when you have those silent moments, it never feels uncomfortable or awkward. I value honestly and loyalty very highly, and would hope they would share these values too.
