I value family and friends, togetherness, giving, sharing and belonging.
I enjoy traveling, sometimes abroad, but equally holidays discovering the hidden delights of this country. Weekends away and days out exploring sandy beaches, old houses, castles and out of the way places.
I love the seasons; yes even winter! and what could be nicer than watching the sunset over Morecambe Bay or looking up at the moon and stars on a, clear and frosty night. All free, we are so lucky.
I like live theatre and the cinema, I can even tolerate the odd trip to the City, although my first love is the countryside.
I love cosy romantic nights at home, log fires, candle lit dinners and holding hands, although I'm not quite at the pipe and slipper stage yet.
I have adventures to recall and exploits yet to come, maybe together? I can only hope.
I am a practical man, I can replace tap washers and repair punctures in bicycle tyres.
I'm down to earth and count honesty, caring, generosity and loyalty amongst my virtues, moreover I believe I have a good sense of humour, despite the general consensus!

My ideal match, well that is a question. I hope she would be is someone who is astute, but, doesn't take herself or life too seriously,
Someone to laugh with and talk to about something, anything and everything and someone who also enjoys those quiet moments when there is no need for conversation.
I hope she will appreciate how the lightest touch can speak volumes as can a gentle hug, someone who is not afraid to feel and express her emotions freely and who occasionally drives me crazy, but not too often please!
