I'm a successful professional but also work as a jazz musician playing with some of the UK's top musicians every now and then. Also, I'm in to walking, sailing, cycling. So, I really like outdoor life and the countryside. There's nothing better than for instance driving through France in my convertible to visit a friend at a lovely farmhouse and drinking great wine, meeting lots of fun and interesting people and going to great restaurants or pubs. I also go to Devon and Northumberland a great deal for the amazing coastline and Hadrians wall.
I'm also keen on art: especially post impressionists; Georgian buildings; reading - especially Ian McEwan; music especially jazz and classical and the theartre from time to time -The History Boys I thought was brilliant. I really like meeting friends in charcterful bars, cafes and pubs - I have lots of favourites such as The Dove on the river in Hammersmith.
