I love history seen through buildings & landscapes & throughly enjoy volunteering with the National Trust when I can. I also appreciate good design in modern architecture.
I also like national events such as Wimbledon etc. I also enjoy adventures to places Ive not been to before.
I enjoy visiting friends & relatives who live in the UK and abroad. Ive had the privilege of travelling the USA (and living) & Asia.
My next venture would be spending time 'seeing' Europe & experiencing diverse cultural variances.
I belong to a local walking group where we take in a 6 mile walk a few times a month stopping for a civilised lunch after!
In the past Ive played tennis, kayaked, sailed; love being on the water, mainly in better weather.
I have to admit TV has become my go-to at the end of a full on day working from home these days enjoying a good light hearted movie or drama & dare I admit, the odd binge watch of shows such as Bridgerton, Reign, The Windsor’s.
Mr McIntyre can have me in stitches.
I used to be the party annimal but admit I tend to prefer smaller gatherings in the form of sharing a relaxed meal & conversation as well as the pleasure of solitude/companionable silence.
For transparency - the type of folk I appreciate getting to know are those who are practicing Christians, comfortable attending worship, discussion and good teaching.
