I am warm, caring, honest and loyal. I love a sense of humour and think I can hold my own when it comes to witty exchanges.
I enjoy watching sport especially Six Nations rugby. I volunteer at my local hospital radio and have my own weekday show which allows me to listen to music I haven’t heard for years. I’m not sure if anyone listens but I chatter away to whoever is out there in the ether!
I love the theatre (especially musicals and comedy), opera (though no Wagner please!), ballet, cinema and live music and like going out to restaurants to try any kind of food though am equally happy cooking at home. I also enjoy going to exhibitions and galleries. I love the great outdoors and the countryside and I’m out walking my dog in all seasons and weather.
I have recently retired allowing me more time to enjoy my life and say yes to more fun things. I love to travel but am happy within the UK as well as it allows me to bring my beloved hairy hound. I believe that every day of your life is for living to its fullest as it is far too short to waste.

An active, interesting mind appeals - someone who challenges things that they feel need discussion. I hate to go for that old adage but a sense of humour is vital.
There is so much to see in this world but seeing it on your own is never as much fun as having someone to discuss, debate and laugh over what you see and do. I would love to meet someone who is wanting to explore the world further though I recognise we live in a beautiful country already so would also enjoy exploring the UK as well.
