Hi, my name's Rod, I live in SW London.
I'm described as positive, gregarious, empathic, intellectual( on a good day), inspiring,laid back, generous, sometimes challenging, active, and never dull to be with. I can go from extreme seriousness at work to talking unadulterated gobbledegook with my mates. I have a wide circle of friends and interests. I run my own consultancy business working with companies as an occupational psychologist and management trainer. I also carry out research and write papers on how companies manage their people- and helping them work out how to avoid murdering each other in the office !
I enjoy sailing across the channel in a storm and then eating fruit de mer, climbing up the Andes and making friends with the lamas, or presenting academic papers to poor unsuspecting people at conferences.And now and again I give off-the-wall type parties.
I'm into the Arts,mainly theatre, classical music, and painting.I read novels and history and am a regular theatre goer with a penchant for Shakespeare, the London fringe theatre scene and the Avignon cultural festival. I am a mentor for the Princes Trust and help young people start up their own businesses. Apart from that, I go back to my roots in deepest Devon for long walks across the cliffs, cream teas and olde worlde pubs.
