I’m a happy, kind, creative, genuine and caring lady looking to meet someone who shares some of my interests, character traits and values, and wishes to spend quality time together.
Formerly a financial controller, and now enjoying the freedom retirement allows.
Photography is a key passion of mine, which allows me to not only visit beautiful places, but also to meet some wonderful creative people.
I love walking and hiking in North Wales, Brecon Beacons, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales to name but a few places often with my camera, and I adore the Isle of Harris and Lewis.
I also spend quality time with my grandson who is a toddler and am soon to be blessed with a new granddaughter.
I belong to a fun rock choir, volunteer when I can, and I keep fit by doing yoga and other classes at my local gym.
I also enjoy walking and belong to a walking group.
I enjoy travel, both in the UK and overseas, visiting new places and revisiting formerly visited places, soaking up the cultural and natural beauty of the area. But you won't find me lying on a beach for hours on end. Instead I'll be looking for architecture and history, exploring the landscape, and definitely trying the local food and wine delights But I’m not averse to relaxing on a beach with a good book and a long cold drink for a few hours, as well a swim in the sea!
I love to cook, and especially for my friends and family, and enjoy nothing better than when we're sitting round the table, talking for hours, and trying to do the impossible and put the world to right!
I regularly visit art and photography exhibitions, cinema, theatre, nice relaxed cafes with friends, and enjoy live music.
